About Me --Your Life and Small Business Coach

Hi, my name is Deann Manning. I just wanted to let you know a little more about me.

My passion is to help small business owners and service providers grow their businesses into long-term sustainable enterprises and have a great life at the same time. I do this by combining my business and marketing background, my coaching skills, as well as my own personal experiences. As a business owner myself I understand what my clients are going through. I want to help everyone achieve their dreams.

I also help people with their careers and life issues. Sometimes just as a sounding board and other times delving more in depth.

Besides coaching I consult. Sometimes work just needs to get done and people don’t have the knowledge, skills, or time to do it themselves. So I consult or do work in the areas of social media marketing, tradtional marketing, human resources, recruiting, and social networking.

Being able to do work that I am passionate about, helping people, and make a living doing it is the most amazing gift of my life (besides having a child). I have never been happier and am so grateful to be able to spend my energy in a way that is meaningful to me. Life is short and it goes by quickly, much too fast to spend it doing something that isn’t you or you dislike.

I balance (and juggle) my work with the fun and challenge of life with a teenage daughter.

I started out like many going to college and obtaining one of my lifes dreams of graduating from college. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications, and a minor in Psychology. I then went on to graduate school with courses in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising, and Media.

I have extensive interviewing and recruiting experience (over eight years) and am knowledgeable about a wide variety of business sectors nationwide.

My business background includes customer service, management, financial, sales, marketing, and social media. With recruiting and training in the retail, financial, manufacturing, real estate, and mortgage industries.

I am currently self employed and love it.

In the last two years I have added a heavy focus in social media marketing and social media networking to my coaching business and help others through training and consulting.

Life can be challenging I know for many people, with the economy, health issues, worrying about business or loosing a job. All one can do is focus on the positive and look for what you can do today to take the steps you need for tomorrow.
